This is actually perfect though. People need to realize the fucking song isn’t supposed to be about all “omg party yolo”. It was written by the band as a sad song and the meaning is supposed to be about friendship and having people there for you/”to carry you home”. It actually fits this book perfectly. Kk that’s all.
